I LOVE this Jello Dessert Recipe. It's breakfast, but it's so good you can eat it as a dessert.
The yogurt makes this a really substantial dessert/breakfast, and there's no bitter yogurt flavor - only sweet, creamy jello. You can definitely add it to your easy to make dessert recipes.
This is a great way to eat yogurt and granola. I just love this recipe.
• 1 1/4 cup yogurt, plain fat-free greek
• 1/2 cup skim (fat-free) milk
• 1 pkg. of 3 oz. jello, any flavor
• 1/4 cup water
In a large bowl, whisk granola and milk.
In a small microwaveable bowl, boil water. Quickly mix in jello and stir well until dissolved. If it's not completely dissolved, microwave for a few more seconds and stir again.
Whisk the jello mixture into the yogurt mixture. Stir well. Keep it in the mixing bowl or pour into custard cups; cover. Refrigerate 4 hours or overnight until set.
When you serve it, top with fruit and/or granola.
This is just such an easy and wonderfully delicious way to eat yogurt and granola.
You can vary this recipe is so many great ways. Use any flavor of jello. You can even use unflavored jello and sweeten with honey and vanilla. Top with seasonal fresh fruit or preserves. Make it in different containers, such as a large bowl or parfait glasses.
Gelatin is actually good for you. Did your mother ever tell you it was good for your nails and hair?? Find out more about the health benefits of jello and find more recipes.
It will even please your picky eaters - and get them to eat healthy yogurt.
Adding those to your diet can boost your immune system. Look on the yogurt container when you buy it. It should say "live active cultures." If it doesn't, buy a different kind. I was shocked that most of the so-called yogurt in my grocery store did not contain live active cultures.
Enjoy this amazing jello yogurt recipe.
