Time to Be Energized

As seasons change and school starts (for many of you), it's a good time to step back and reevaluate your routines.

How is my eating? What do I need to "tweak?"

How is my exercise? Do I need to make it more consistent? Maybe it's time to make it a little more intense?

How is my thinking? Am I focusing on my strengths and redirecting my thoughts from the negative?

You can make permanent changes if you make one little change at a time! Before you know it, you weight has disappeared and stayed off. You feel stronger and refreshed.

Fruit Dessert Recipes

Who eats enough fruit? I have to confess, I should do a better job, too!

Boost your immunity and add nutrition to your desserts with fruit.

These recipes are great with fresh summer and fall fruit, and most of them are even better with frozen fruit.

(My favorites are the first and last recipes :)

Get more fruit in your diet with these 4 recipes.

Running is a sure-fire way to lose weight

If you want to get the most out of your exercise time, running is fantastic. It burns a lot of calories, builds muscles, and makes you feel a bit euphoric (the "runners high").

Dr. Dave's latest advice is How to Choose Running Shoes.

He's tried them all! Running shoes fall into 3 categories:

Stability shoes
Cushion shoes
Lightweight or minimalist shoes

Find out which ones you should try . . . Also, check out his personal advice for How to Start Running or his Motivation for Running.

See you next time . . .

We'll see you again around the Holidays!

Back to School is a time to refresh your routines . . .
